Established for over thirty years, The North West Piano Centre is the UK's premiersupplier of pre-owned Yamaha and Kawai pianos.

The founders of The North West Piano Centre Mr Maurice Fitzpatrick and Mrs Karen Fitzpatrick set an exceptional high standard for the pre-owned piano market ensuring that every piano is dealt with individually to achieve the best possible result, having set up their first retail piano shop Piano World in the late Piano World1970's in Levenshume, Manchester, it was at this time that many pianos were bought and sent abroad as export sales which in turn led Maurice into importing in the late 1980's now as The North West Piano Centre and firmly established as a piano wholesaler and retailer of the pre-owned Yamaha and Kawai pianos we sell today.

After having worked with Maurice in the business for many years his brother Nicholas Fitzpatrick took over in April 2004 and will continue to maintain the high level and quality of finish to each piano. Whilst the wholesale side of the business is now on a smaller scale our retail showroom has around 30 / 40 pianos on display offering a wide selection of beginner, intermediate and professional level pianos.

Our showroom in Manchester is open six days a week for customers to browse and sample our range of high quality instruments. Showroom and technical staff are happy to advise and answer any of your questions.

Our experienced and qualified tuner / technicians are well known for their work in piano restoration, tuning and servicing. Their many years of experience ensure we are able to offer a very high standard of pre-owned Yamaha and Kawai pianos for today's market.Yamaha grand piano

Our technical team at the North West Piano Centre are time served qualified tuner technicians who have been with the company for over ten years. They are also entrusted to tune and maintain pianos for

The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester Grammar School, The Bridgewater Hall, Chetham's School of Music, The BBC and Lancaster University, along with various music festivals throughout the North West.

We count ourselves fortunate to have such experienced and dedicated

staff at the North West Piano Centre. We also have long established links with many piano teachers in and around the North West to ensure the right instrument is chosen for their students.
